From Steel Plants to Defence, to Ship-building and machine tools , Agriculture Machine to Earthmoving Equipment manufacturer across several Industries -Hyd Air Engineering parts and components have been the base of several projects, processes and machinery in the Indian Industry for over 50 years.

About the Company

Established in 1969, Hyd-Air Engineering Pvt. Ltd. began its journey as a pioneer in manufacturing hydraulic fittings in India. Over the decades, we built a reputation for excellence, reliability, and innovation, earning the trust of industries across the nation.

However, as with many legacy businesses, challenges in management led to difficult times. Despite our strong foundation and industry leadership, the company struggled to sustain its operations. But great legacies don’t fade—they evolve.

In 2024, a new chapter began when Aeroflex Industries Limited, a leader in flexible flow solutions in India, acquired Hyd-Air Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Backed by SAT Group, a diversified business conglomerate with a global presence in over 100 countries, this acquisition has infused new strength, vision, and expertise into our operations.

Today, with a world-class manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, equipped with cutting-edge technology and stringent quality control, we continue to set new benchmarks in the industry. Our extensive product line, including Hydraulic Pipe/Tube Fittings, Instrumentation Fittings, Double Ferrule Fittings, Pipe Clamps, SAE Flanges, Valves, Quick Disconnect Couplings, and Minimess Couplings, reflects our unwavering dedication to quality and innovation.

Aeroflex Industries Limited acquired Hyd-Air Engineering in April 2024 as a 100% subsidiary. Aeroflex Industries is a leading manufacturer of flexible flow solutions based out of Taloja, Navi Mumbai, India. Aeroflex is a BSE & NSE listed company and is present across the globe serving all the major international markets.

SAT Industries Limited is the parent company of Aeroflex Industries Limited. SAT is a BSE & NSE listed company and has been in existence for more than 37 years. It is engaged in varied business activities such as manufacturing, leasing, finance, investments, domestic trading and import & export through its various subsidiaries. It has a presence in various international markets such as the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North & South America. Its group companies are exporting products to more than 100 countries. Mr. Nadir S Karachiwala

Profile of Chairman

Founder, Chairman and Managing Director , Mr. Nadir S. Karachiwala is a graduate of R.W.T.H Aachen University, Germany.

Extensively associated with German engineering industries, he is an engineering professional turned Entrepreneur.

He was associated with Bureau of Indian Standard for many years and played a key role in the development of Industry Standards which were implemented under his Guidance.

He Chaired the Steering Committee of Bureaus of Indian Standards (BIS) of Pipe Fittings and Hose Connectors until retirement.

His contribution has been actively known to be associated with planning, developments of quality standards for fittings and hydraulic fluid connectors throughout the country.
